Prairie, meadow, field, one of the best for bees of all. Very edible minty licorice taste, strongly licorice scented leaves, showy, this is northern Ontario plant. Unfortunately in the last years, many nursery owners have been made aware that Anise Hyssop (Agastache foeniculum) the native Ontario plant, is hybridizing with Korean Mint (Agastache rugosa). In 2025 we have began working with a supplier of seed who is aware and are producing seed that is as true to the native as possible for our stock.
